How can I apply for my visa?
Can I re-enter the UK if I leave? What is the processing fee? How long does it take? Do I need evidence of funds? How long can I work for? Can I apply if I have children? Can I reapply if I got a UK visa but didn’t enter the UK? I am planning to travel to the UK later in the year, when can I apply? Can Visa First assist me with organizing my bank account and/or national insurance number so I can transfer money and begin working? Do I need to attend a biometric appointment as a part of my visa application? Simply register here and complete the application form. We will then contact you by phone for payment of AU$585 (AU$570 plus AU$15 to cover registered post) or CAD 550 (CAD535 plus CAD15 to cover registered post). This can be paid by credit card over the phone or by money order made out to Visa First. You will then be asked a series of visa questions. Once these are answered we will then send you a receipt which you will need to return to us along with your passport.
Your working holiday visa allows multiple entries into the UK during its period of validity, however, all time spent outside the UK after first arriving will be considered as part of the 2 years.
For Australian citizens AU$585 (AU$570 plus AU$15 to cover registered post)
For Canadian citizens CAD550 (CAD535 plus CAD15 to cover registered post). The processing time is 4 weeks (6 weeks during our peak season of February and March).You are advised not to book your flights until your visa has been processed
Yes, you must have sufficient funds for partial support (e.g. a recent bank statement, no older than 1 month, showing a final balance of min AU$3000/CAD3000 which clearly displays your name and the last 3 months of transaction history. Please also provide evidence to explain any large deposits, e.g. payslips, receipts from sales of property, etc).
You are allowed to work for a maximum of 12 months of your 2 year stay. You can however apply for a work permit after the first year allowing you to work for longer.
You should apply approximately three months prior to your intended arrival in the UK. The latest date that your visa can be dated is three months from the day it is issued. If you apply three months in advance the visa will start three months from the date of issue.

Yes, all Visa First customers receive assistance with opening their bank account and getting their national insurance number in the UK.
Yes. The British High Commission have introduced digital fingerprinting as of December 1, 2007. Once Visa First receive your completed application and payment we will submit it to the Immigration Authorities and will then provide you with full instructions on the further steps of your application, thus including details on the biometric (fingerprinting) appointment with the Consular representatives.
