Shall I have an offer of employment prior to lodging my UK Ancestry Visa application?
Where shall I apply? Can my spouse and children apply to join me in the UK at the same time I lodge my UK Ancestry visa application or they should first wait for my visa to be decided? Can my spouse work in the UK? In what conditions my unmarried/same sex partner can join me in the UK? Will my unmarried/same sex partner have right to work? Do I need to attend a biometric appointment as a part of my visa application? All though it is not necessary it is strongly advisable and advantageous to have a firm offer of employment in the UK upon submitting your visa application.

Your family is allowed to apply together with you as long as you comply with the requirements.
Your unmarried/same sex partner can join or accompany you in the case both of you can prove you have been living together in a relationship akin to marriage which has subsisted for a minimum period of two years.
Yes. The British High Commission have introduced digital fingerprinting as of December 1, 2007. Once Visa First receive your completed application and payment we will submit it to the Immigration Authorities and will then provide you with full instructions on the further steps of your application, thus including details on the biometric (fingerprinting) appointment with the Consular representatives.
