Yes, you need to apply with your original passport.

You need to prepare the following documents for the application:
  • Original passport that has a validity not less than six months
  • Visa Application Form.
  • Two Passport Size photographs.
  • A self addressed envelop- special delivery is required.

What are the rights granted by the Tanzanian tourist visa?
The Tanzanian tourist visa is issued only for leisure and recreational purposes.

The Tanzanian embassy in UK issues only single entry tourist visas.

Single entry, tourist visa for Irish residents – 35GBP;
Singe entry, tourist visa for British residents – 65GBP;
