Do I need a visa if I am going to spend less than 30 days in Thailand?
No, you do not.


How long can I stay in Thailand on my visa?
You can stay up to 60 days on a Tourist visa. You may apply for a number of entries and each entry allows you to stay up to 60 days however you must leave the country and re-enter to go onto your next entry.


Do I have to send my passport when applying for the Thai tourist visa?
Yes. Your passport must also be valid for at least 6 months form the date you are due to enter Thailand.


How soon should I apply?
You can apply no earlier than 90 days from when you plan to enter Thailand as the visa will expire 90 days from the date of issue. Allow 5-10 working days for your visa to be issued.


Can I extend my visa when in Thailand?
Yes, at the immigration office or local police station. Each case is treated individually.


I will be in Thailand on business for less than 30 days. Do I need a visa?
Yes, all business trips require a visa.

When applying for the visa can I use a cheque?
We do not accept cheques. Please send postal order, credit card details or a bank transfer.


What do I need to send in order to apply?
  • One completed application form.
  • Two (2) recent photographs.
  • Visa processing fee.
  • Self addressed envelope with sufficient postage (for the return of your passport).
