Yes, the original passport is required to apply for the visa.

  • 2 recent passport photos;
  • Self addressed and pre-paid envelope;

What are the rights granted by the Myanmar tourist visa?
The tourist visa is only valid for leisure or recreational purposes.
Who needs a tourist visa to travel to Myanmar?
A Tourist visa is required by nationals of all countries.
How long is the visa valid for?
The visa is valid for 4 weeks from the date of entry into Myanmar.
How much time I have to activate the visa from the moment I have it?
The visa must be activated within 90 days after the issue date.
How long does it take to organize the visa?
The processing time for Irish and British residents is 10 working days, after receipt of the application.
What type of entry the tourist visa provides?
The Myanmar tourist visa is only for single entry.
What are the application fees?

Irish Residents:
-Tourist Visa, 1-Month, Single entry: €65
